STYLE SPOTLIGHT: NYFW STREET STYLE

New York Fashion week is soon coming to an end and its safe to say we have some serious street-style envy: we saw a lot of beading, oversized button up shirts, feminine dresses paired with sneakers, and the new off shoulder trend that we saw grace the runway.

We’ve put a collection of fashion forward outfits we loved (and want) hot off the streets of New York!

The Stylish Royals

Whilst Kate Middleton has been dubbed as one of the most fashionable members of the royal family, with pieces sported by the princess selling out within hours. However, she isn’t the only one known for her stylish and expensive taste.

Australia’s own Mary, who became Denmark’s Crown Princess has topped last year’s list as the trendiest royal. Her style can be described as modest, of course, but with a fashionable edge.

The world seems to love Queen Máxima of the Netherlands’ sense of quirk and bright colour palette.

Queen Letizia of Spain has also been recognized for her classical ensembles with a modern flair and rounds out the top 4.

Fashion gets personal: The pieces you can personalise.

Fashion is getting more personal then ever before. Their are now a number of brands that will put your name on pieces so its as if it was made just for you. If your like me and have a name with unusual spelling and have never owned a keychain or mug with your name on it in your life, this is especially exciting.

Bill Cunningham dies at 87

Legendary fashion photographer Bill Cunningham has died at age 87 after suffering a stroke early last week. Former photographer for the New York Times, Cunningham was renowned for his iconic photographs, capturing fashion on and off the streets in New York for nearly 50 years. Notorious for getting around on his bicycle, donning his blue worker’s jacket with a camera in hand, he devoted his attention to capturing the beauty of clothing around the city. Having achieved countless awards and releasing a self titled documentary in 2010, Bill Cunningham has certainly cemented himself in the history of fashion forever.

Must Try Hairstyles for Winter

We all love to change up our look every once in a while, so why not give one of these trending hairstyles a go this season.

Revamp your look with the textured fringe. Featured on our fave girl Selena Gomez, this simple change can really add some shape to your face.

If your brave why not get a chop like the stunning Jennifer Lawrence? This surprising versatile hair style is so hot right now.

But if you love your hair don’t panic, long luscious hair full of body is always in fashion. Why not try adding some layers to create a naturally soft wave as seen on our girl Ciara.

Pharrell x Chanel

We have seen partnerships with fashion and music before none like Pharrell and the iconic fashion house Chanel

Chanel has released a video of Pharrell visiting the House and its Métiers d’art. The video shows Pharrell touring the house to watch the design process.

This is not Pharrell’s first time on the fashion scene. Alongside his music career Pharrell has two labels Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream as well as previously teaming up wth Adidas and G-Star Raw.

We don’t have a lot of information yet on exactly what to expect but its safe to say it will be something pretty spectacular. Check out the video for yourself below.
