Logies Rundown

Forget the winner of the Gold Logie, fashion was the only thing on our minds...

The Logies 2016 was a runway dominated by oversized embellishments, sheer selections, and trending Autumn hues of red, burgundy, and plum. While we like to assume that many of our home-grown talents were aiming for dreamy, elegantly seductive looks, they encompassed the theme ‘less is better’, a little too literally (here’s looking at your Jacinta). Others took some serious inspiration from last weeks MET Gala and graced us with colossal sized ball gowns, and trains to outdo Flinders Street Railway Station. On the opposite end of spectrum was Gold Logie nominee Lee Lin Chin, who gave us flashbacks to Primary School days looking like she just stepped off the set of Sesame Street, but hey, who didn't love Big Bird.
